I am posting this for you all to listen and watch for yourself. Phil Valentine has done many lectures on many subjects from metaphysics to breaking down the media. I am putting this up cause it deals with religion and in this case Christianity. He has dealt with every religion as well just to let you know it is not biased for any religion in particular. I urge you to watch and listen with an open mind because this may be offensive if you are not open minded. I also urge you to check out his entire lecture not just the first clip to fully understand what he is saying. I am not putting this up to offend anyone, it is just an attempt to show people different opinions on topics many are afraid to address. Discussion is welcomed on this or any topic we post and I will gladly find more things for us to discuss.

Why the hell do public tax dollars pay to fund a religious school system?

Why is it not PLAINLY obvious that this is totally unfair.  There are hindus, buddhits, muslims, jews etc etc that have to run schools as private institutions – where the users pay for service.

Yet – the catholic religious teachings are propogated – supported – by the publics tax dollars.

WTF?!?!

I do not believe Jesus is the son of god, I do not believe the catholic reiligion to be true – yet I pay to perpetuate the myth to future generations?

I would have liked a choice.

I would suggest either the government starts public funding for ALL religious schools – or – cut funding to the Catholic School board.

And since I find all religions should be kept out of the public sphere, and funding all of them would cost an obscene amount of money – I would suggest the latter – cut the funding to the Catholic board.  Force CATHOLICS to pay for it – its thier religion – not mine.

Recently in Toronto, there were Catholic Board trustees caught submitting expenses to the board for – amongst other things – lingere.

Am I paying for some bitch to dress up like a whore and suck off her husband in the name of education?  Catholic education?  But I guess she confessed to her priest so all is forgiven.

I have no objection to a wife dressing like a whore, and blowing her husband – but I do object to having ot take it up the ass from the Catholic School board – and then pay them.

I am putting this out there now, cause I know that you need to ask the question no matter how simple it may seem if you are to learn. As most of you who read this know, we have just started blogging. With it being new to us we are learning with everything we write. So my question is this….

To all of you bloggers, how do we get music to you? I would love to have your opinions and feedback on what we do but I can never find a contact from your blogs to send material too. Someone must have the answer, hit us up!

One thing I try to ensure never happens to me is that I stop having fun.

Sometimes, when you’re working 8-10 hours a day, you get home and help around the house, take care of your kids, do some chores, pay some bills, and deal with the mundane routine of life – you can end up drained.

Enter the TV.  So you sit down and veg out watching nonsense – I do that too.  My vice is hockey.

Its that routine that can become so degrading mentally, that you forget what real fun is.

Thankfully, when I am in the studio making beats, with the guys recording vocals,  performing at a show – I have fun.

Sometimes, the grind of the music biz takes the fun out of the music…and when you are trying to make it a career it can REALLY sap the fun out of the whole thing.

Marketing, promotion, distribution, planning……none of it is fun.

Every so often, we need to take some time to remember that if making music stops being fun, than your music will suck.

If you are struggling to make a song work – its gonna suck. 

If you hate making a song – its gonna suck. 

If you hate working with your band mates – your music is going to suck.

If this ever happens to me – I will quite outright, cause at that point my life will stop being fun.

At that point, I will just be making songs for myself and anyone around me who digs what I am in to – cause that’s fun.

Yes yes ya’ll here is some more thoughts….

Personally I think we should all take the time to reflect, to seriously look at our lives and what is going on. I am doing that right now and I advise everyone out there to do the same at some point. It is one of the only ways we can truly learn from our own behaviours and tribulations and make the adjustments you need to make to improve your life. This year I went through many tough times and learned that in the end if we are still standing and breathing then we will be okay.

No matter how hard things seem knowing that when you look back if you would not change a thing then you are travelling the road you must travel which is exactly what I did. I will not get personal and spill everything in my life but I am hoping that someone can relate and this might help you get over. What I do know is this: 1) Keep doing what is best for you and the ones closest to you. 2) you can’t save anyone else until you save yourself. 3) Most important like a plant you have to prune the leaves, and cut some branches to grow.

Keep trodding people and make your movements with purpose.

Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot;

But, if God both can and wants to abolish evil, then how come evil is in the world?

Ok seriously.  So I am watching the news last night, waiting for the weather report – cause like all normal people I want to know how cold it is going to be – and if its gonna snow. 

That’s ALL I want to know.

But your boy the METEOROLOGIST gets on the news and starts justifying his existance by rambling on about Cold Fronts, and Low pressure ridges and easterly winds doing something to the mid atlantic and blah blah blah – FOR LIKE 10 GOD DAMN MINUTES?!?!

I am sitting there thinking ‘what the fuck is this guy talking about….reallly?”

At the end of his gigantic soliloquy of barometric blatherings the 7-day graphic pops up, where I can see the high, low and conditions for the rest of the week.  That’s all I wanted.

So this clown gets paid to ramble, when he could be replaced by a graphic that my 2 year old can interpret…..’look daddy, snow!!!” 

Maybe she should be doing the weather, not Meteor boy.

Today I am going to put a blog down that will be different but fun (for me to write at least). I am going to express thoughts the best way I know how and that is in verse. I am giving the disclaimer from now whatever I write will be written for the first time so your feedback would be cool too. Anyway enough of the long talk here we go…

When times get rough, stay focused

Don’t lose your vision, stay hungry yet humble, don’t stumble

Keep your faith based on knowledge and know the ledge you stand on

So when you hit roadblocks they won’t become road stops…stay focused

Make your dreams come true no matter what people say or do

They laugh at you until you succeed because they could not do what you do

Don’t worry about the haters, the vampires, and the like who are trapped in the rat race

Travel at your own pace. Remember when times get rough…stay focused

These were just some thoughts I put down to remind everyone to keep pushing until you get where u need to be. That’s what we are on right now, the push. Keep strong people.
